Well, obviously that was a bust. I had a title and everything. I was going to do "A Farewell to Arms and Legs" by Ernest Hemingway.
Obviously, I didn't do that before the deadline.
I've got nothing this last month or so. Just...nothing.
Is it just me? Adjusting to the new job has been taking more effort than I expected, but that's not all. I've been working on my writing projects at a slow but regular pace.
Still, I just don't have my usual pep.
Perhaps it's the season.

I'm actually starting to get back at things. Not quite writing (and drawing) my projects I was putting off, instead doing some stuff as warm up. Hopefully it will lead to some good things, like actually doing something substantial with the pack within, the water pine and actually finishing a draft of SFI.
And another thing, where are my points for the busted contest?
It's not just you. I have written practically nothing besides blog posts for the last eight weeks.
I've been all balled up in the whole school thing. Which is a good thing, especially since my field project for anthropology is background research for a novel I've started and my dissertation ideas (which are the basis for possibly a non-fic book along with more novels) are also coming together big time. But I likely won't be emerging much from this until somewhere around May 9ish.
About May 9thish?
I envy the specificity of your vague notion.
Ryan: Why thank you. I enjoy being specifically vague when possible. (Oh, and the vagueness regards grading--I'll have all my papers in by then for the classes I'm taking, but I give an exam that day, so it depends how quickly I can grade. :)
I have not even looked at this site since 2008, but I have the excuse of getting married and helping my wife move up to Canadia. Where there are wolves.
We need a new idea....

Ahoy, me hearties! If you want to see what's been keeping me busy(ish), on the other hand, you can shiver your timbers down to a comic shop and order Captain Blood. There's a preview gallery (the first eight pages of the book) over here: http://www.comicspace.com/risekraken/comics.php?action=gallery&comic_id=25224
