Oh hell

I forgot to mention, as I'd intended to do in that last entry, that Gayleen and Chris also were also successful in their 3 Day Album Project. Pictures are available over at their site. Soon, one hopes, song samples will follow.

So a tip of the ol' hat to our sister project.

I think (though I haven't discussed it with Chris) that we're both a bit iffy about posting song clips until the mixing is done.

Though, in fairness, Ryan was letting people see his book pretty much as he wrote it.

Except, in further fairness, that was in Google docs, released to a select group of people, and not a flat-out web post.

Mind you, in yet another burst of fairness, Ryan did want to post his work online as he was writing, and would have done so had it not been against the rules.

Well, I just have a philosophy that its good for people to see the ugly parts of art being created is all. Then they can see the work of fixing it.

But to each their own.

I understand just as well not wanting to share things when you arent proud of them yet.

It's not necessarily not being proud, but that other people might not understand *why* someone was proud of a certain piece of work when there's still work to be done, you know?

Some people can listen to, or look at, or read a work in progress and grasp how it came from nothing and got this far and has farther to go... and others can't really appreciate something until it's done.
